　Family Support Center is an organization for people both searching and offering help with childcare. "I have an urgent need for a babysitter!" "I'd like to help with babysitting in the area!" At times like these, please register at Kusatsu City Family Support Center. We bring necessary people together at their times of need. Please join our fun events such as The Playground Event (Asobi hiroba) and Family Support Caravan group!

Parents of children studying at elementary school or younge; living within the city of Kusatsu, or working in Kusatsu city	People living within or in the suburbs of Kusatsu city
Two-way members	It is possible to both request and offer help

On times like...

Before the start of school or daycare After returning home from school or daycare During school or daycare holidays When picking the child up from school or daycare is not possible During the times of family member's hospitalization or recovery During the parents temporary employment When feeling worn out from childcare ...etc

7AM～7PM	７００円/hour
Other times, weekends & holidays	８００円/hour

The Playground Event & Family Support Caravan Group

• The Playground Event (Asobi Hiroba)

　Two times a year - a big event is held at Kusatsu City Hall, where parents and children gather to have fun with the members and volunteers, playing with toys, games, paper crafts etc.

• Family Support Caravan Group

　A place where parents and their infants can gather freely, to have good time while doing simple crafting, singing songs, etc. It's also possible to sign up for Family Support Center here.

　　

　　

About Family Support

 　It's a relief to know that during times of need, there is someone who can help with childcare. Making this system of help possible is the work of Family Support Center. Childcare was the starting point, but creating new human relations to the region has become a big part of our work.
 　Having started in 1994, in 2007 this kind of service has expanded to around 500 places throughout the country.
 　In the city of Kusatsu, this service has been managed by NPO Kodomo Network Center Tenki-Mura from the year 2005.
